It's possible that PCG meeting topics, speakers and/or any event may change for various reasons. Also, from time to time we will be adding new information so please be sure to check back for updates.
Do you have ideas for PCG meetings you don't see listed here or one or more subjects you would like to have again? If so, you are welcome to send us an email or share your suggestions with any of the Board Members.

2022-2023 PCG Schedule & Other Events
* June 15-18: EDC annual Fair. Consider entering a flower arrangement, single flower, potted plants, succulents, flower table setting, etc. Cash prizes. For more information on entries, open here.
* June 15, NOTE, this is a revised date for the June 13 meeting at 9:00 a.m. for the PCG at the Sherwood Demonstration Garden in Placerville. We are hosting the CGCI/GFD Meeting starting at 10:00 a.m. for a joint meeting with the theme "What's Not To Like About Succulents" presented by Master Gardner Donna Hauser. We will also receive a tour of the Garden. Potluck and other details found here.
* June 13, Meeting changed to June 15.
* May 9: Photography Tips with award winning photographer and PGC member, Steph Gabler, vote in new board members. NOTE: This meeting will be held at the Placerville Library , 345 Fair Lane.
* April 29: 10th annual Gardens Gone Native Plant Tour, a self guided tour in Sacramento and Yolo Counties featuring landscaping with native plants. Requires pre registration.
* April 29: UC Davis Master Garden Plant Sale, Ornamentals,Sherwood Demonstration Garden, Placerville, 8am-12noon.
* April 25: NOTE: THIS IS A NEW DATE. Crystal Hermitage Garden Tour, Nevada City, in conjunction with the El Dorado Hills Bloomers, $10 entrance fee + $10-$12 to offset PCG carpool drivers. Requires registration. For more information, email placervillegardenclub@gmail.com.
* NOTE: POSTPONED. DATE TBD. April 20: Morningsun Herb Farm, Vacaville, in conjunction with the El Dorado Hills Bloomers, $15 pp includes herb class, catered lunch, burro feeding/food. *April 11: Prepping the Garden for Planting & a Q&A panel with several Master Gardners. Get your pumpkin seeds for our October contest, nominate new board members. NOTE: This meeting will be held at the El Dorado Fairgrounds, Corker Room which is through the main fair gate on Placerville Drive. Park in the plaza area near the rose circle and in front of the Mark Forni Building. The Corker Room is up the hill to the right of the parking area.
* March 18: 18th annual Gardener's Market with speaker Marlene Simon, "The Plant Lady" with new & returning vendors. Shepard Garden & Arts Center in Sacramento.
* March 14: Gardening Tips & Tools with Master Gardener Ada Brehmer. * March 2-25: The Amazing Gourd Spotlight Solo Show featuring Joyce Campbell's 50 gourd art pieces, storyboards, unusual gourd variety display, presented by Mills Station Art Cultural Center (MACC) in Rancho Cordova.
* February 14: Tea/Tea Party with Master Gardener and VP of the El Dorado County Herb Society, Kitty Stewart. NOTE: This meeting will be held at the El Dorado Fairgrounds, Corker Room which is through the main fair gate on Placerville Drive. PCG Meeting Times & Location
Due to flooding of the VMB/VFB, temporarily meetings will be at substitute locations per meeting as noted above until repairs can be made.
